Matt Laurinec

Matthew Laurinec was born in the Detroit suburb of Southfield and grew up in neighboring Troy.  Upon graduation from Troy Athens High School, Matt went on to secure a Journalism Degree from The University of Michigan Dearborn.  His experiences in school drew him to radio, where he decided to put his passion to work.

Matt says he loves his chosen field because of the opportunities it gives him to make meaningful connections with listeners.  As a featured member and executive producer of “The Blaine Fowler Morning Show,” Matt gets to make those connections regularly though feature games, pop-culture topics, social media interactions, and on-site appearances.

When Matt isn’t on the air, he enjoys coaching his lacrosse team, landscaping his home, and playing with his dogs, BoRiley and cat Jager (yes named after Jagermeister). He also likes keeping up on his fitness through biking, rollerblading, and regular visits to Orange Theory Fitness.

He’s a self-described sensitive guy (even though he might not always come off that way).  He loves chick flicks, reality TV (especially “The Bachelor,”) and Mom’s homemade meatloaf.
