AMERICA POLISH FESTIVAL | JUNE 20-22

Poles are Michigan’s second-largest ethnic group and a key part of Detroit’s history. As of the 2000 Census, Michigan had the third-largest Polish population in the U.S., after New York and Illinois. Today, most Polish Americans in Michigan live in Macomb County, especially Sterling Heights, which became a hub after migration from Hamtramck and Detroit. The American Polish Festival & Craft Show draws thousands from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Canada. It features live Polka music, traditional dance, authentic food and drinks, and a variety of craft vendors.
