Nanette gave up her beauty shop to adopt 5 children no one else wanted. she made sure our dad was taken care of to the fullest as well; He was in Vietnam and a survivor of a grenade attacks. Because of this she became a life member of the ladies auxiliary.
My mom put in a garden in Carleton, MI for rememberance of all the fallen heros lost to war. She has maintained this garden for the past 20 years . Never asking for help from any one other member.
She’s never gotten recognition for all her hard work for the veterans of the community she lives in. That garden has been a labor of love for her, a way to show her passions and love for my father. Please pick my mom she’s 79 years young and has never gotten recognition for her talent.
