New to the American music scene comes the Swedish DJ Duo, Cazzette. The two DJs Sebastian Furrer and Alexander Björklund started in June 2011 with an extensive list of both official and bootleg remixes. They bacame popular in the club-scene after their official remix of ‘Sweet Dreams’ (made famous by the British pop duo Eurythmics in 1983). Their new original song Beam Me Up is definitely a favorite amongst listeners, and has received three separate remixes by the Duo themselves.

With the help of Spotify, Cazzette has started to become popular with American pop/techno fans, and their three part album (Eject) is now completely available on Spotify (not for purchase yet), as of Jan. 22. Cazzette has the upbeat dance-sound we have come accustomed to listening, and yet still has a sweet, softness that many other bass-booming pop/techno songs just do not carry.
