A stranger (still) to the mainstream herself, Sky Ferreira‘s work has been graced by producers that have since shared their resources with station regulars Alex Clare and No Doubt. Produced with Ariel Rechtshaid, Lost In My Bedroom is class-A trip-pop, laced with an ethereal (and impressive) vocal delivery from one of pop’s hottest newcomers.

The fourth single from her 2012 EP Ghost, the record is also poised to be featured on Sky’s upcoming 2013 LP, I’m Not Alright. All pretenses aside, Sky is quickly becoming a prominent driver in the pop music landscape. Carving out a particular niche that not only suits her more favorably than Katy Perry-esque leotards and whip-cream brassieres (which appear standard in modern-pop), Sky encourages the rest of pop’s females to just ‘get on with it’.
