The third December single release from Las Vegas four-piece The Killers (Merry Christmas!), Here With Me is a bittersweet mid-tempo that will leave you feeling a bit lonely this holiday season.

Here With Me – certainly a standout on the band’s fourth studio LP, Battle Born, is a little bit Springsteen, with a palatable dose of those signature Brandon Flowers vocals. Arguably, the single is their most accessible release since 2008’s Human.

After performing the single live on NBC‘s The Voice with season 3 winner Cassadee (video below), the single has slowly-but-steadily climbed the iTunes most-downloaded singles chart.

The music video (which we’ve featured below – you’re welcome) is another collaboration with long-time director and friend, Tim Burton. In a recent interview, Burton had this to say about the clip, “When I heard the song Here With Me I remembered seeing a wax figure of Winona in Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Blackpool. The concept of the video is inspired by the 1935 film Mad Love, starring Peter Lorre, as well as the works of Mario Bava.”
