They can be a first responder, nurse, teacher, neighbor, community activist or someone who helps make our community a better place each and every day!
Each month throughout the year, 96.3 WDVD will select one lucky nominee to be highlighted on our website and on-air as our Viviano Flower Shop Good Samaritan of the Month and that person will also receive a $100 gift card to shop at Viviano Flower Shop!

Amelia is an amazing human. She was inspired to become an EMT because of her younger brother. He has health issues and has had numerous emergencies where an ambulance needed to be called. She watched the medics work on her brother and found her true calling. She is the first person to offer help in any circumstance. She’s the first person to notice if you are sad or hurting. She will give you the shirt off her back, no questions asked. She’s incredibly empathetic. She’s also kind, caring, compassionate and her smile lights up a room . She’s an amazing EMT and is only 19 years old. You can’t teach the skills she exhibits to her patients on a daily basis. She holds their hands, talks to her patients and listens to what they have to say. She plays their favorite music in the ambulance to help cheer them up or keep them from being afraid. She loves her job and helping her community when they need it most. She deserves the honor of being 96.3 WDVD and Viviana’s Good Samaritan of the Month.
