“Fairy Godmother” Taylor Swift donates to hospital that saved her Godson

An amazing humanitarian and a real life “Fairy Godmother,” Taylor Swift, Godmother to actress Jaime King’s son Leo Thames, made a generous donation in his name to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Leo had been diagnosed with a congenital heart condition known as Transposition of the Great Arteries or TGA. The team at the hospital saved his life and Taylor, who had visited him in the ICU, gave a tribute gift. King posted about it on Twitter this week along with a copy of the note which read in part: “Tribute gifts are essential to patient care programs and services at Cedars-Sinai, they make the good work of the physicians, surgeons, researchers, and nursing staff possible and we are very grateful to receive them.” MORE
