Metro Detroiters helping earthquake victims in Nepal and how you can help

Dr. Richard Keidan is the founder of a West Bloomfield nonprofit group called Detroit2Nepal, their goal is  to improve health and education opportunities for children in eastern Nepal and Metro Detroit. Since the earthquake, they are working to raise money for the victims. In addition to other money raising efforts, his foundation planned and event called Over the Edge on May 8. The charity is teaming up with Bedrock Real Estate Services and Quicken Loans, which allows people to rappel down the First National Building in downtown Detroit in exchange for a $1,000 donation.
