The timing is right for Brit singer Olly Murs to launch his U.S. invasion. In April, he'll launch a tour in support of his U.S. debut album, Right Place Right Time, and hit the small screen to promote it.
First up for Olly is an appearance on the CW's 90210 on April 14 -- he'll play himself and perform the title cut of his album, along with his current hit, "Troublemaker," his collaboration with Flo Rida. Next, look for Olly on ABC’s Good Morning America on April 17.
"Troublemaker" is the lead single for Right Place Right Time, which will be in stores April 16. It's actually Olly's third album in the U.K., but it'll be his debut in the U.S. In addition to "Troublemaker, the disc will also include Olly's hit from last year, "Heart Skips a Beat."
Speaking about "Troublemaker," Olly tells ABC News Radio, "It's a really cool song about a girl that's in my life...the kind of person you shouldn't fancy, but you do and they play games with you all the time, and they're really troublemakers."
Olly says he likes the song's "Maroon 5" vibe, and adds, "With a little Flo Rida sprinkled on top, it's a good mix!"
The singer kicks off his tour in support of the new album April 19 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Tickets go on sale on March 15 on the singer's website.
