Jason Mraz
"Make It Mine"
(from the album "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." on Atlantic)
Back in 2002, Jason Mraz really took off with his hugely successful single "The Remedy." After his initial success, he seemed to fly under the radar for a little while, but in the past year his music has really exploded on the air. With big hits like "I'm Yours" and "Lucky" (featuring the smooth voice of Colbie Caillat), along with his recent performance on the "American Idol" season finale, he's truly becoming one of the biggest artists of today.

A Fine Frenzy
"Blow Away"
(from the album "Bomb in a Birdcage" on Virgin)
Although A Fine Frenzy is a band, it basically boils down to just one person: the lovely Alison Sudol. At just 24-years old, this Los Angeles native is the heart and soul of the band. She writes the songs, and most importantly, has the final say with how the music turns out. While her previous album was mostly dominated with slower, emotionally sad songs, her upcoming album "Bomb in a Birdcage" looks to be a refreshing deviation from that trend.

Hey Monday
"How You Love Me Now"
(from the album "Hold On Tight" on Sony/BMG)
Hey Monday, formed by lead vocalist Cassadee Pope right after graduating high school, is one of those up-and-coming bands that you should really look out for. Pope's powerful pipes front the band, and their music really packs a punch. Growing up in West Palm Beach, Florida, the band writes from experience. This is evident in the case of their song "Candles," which was written about Hurricane season when the power would go out.

The Script
"Breakeven"
(from the album "The Script" on Sony/BMG)
This band, hailing from Dublin, Ireland, is already huge in Europe with many of their songs topping the charts over there this past year. They're looking to duplicate their wild success here in the States, and their first single "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" is already being played all over the radio. Recently getting the big opportunity to open for Paul McCartney at Citi Field in New York, this band is definitely working their way to the top.

Theory of a Deadman
"Wait For Me"
(from the album "Scars & Souvenirs" on 604/Roadrunner)
This Canadian band was first signed to Chad Kroeger's label after the lead singer of the band, Tyler Connolly, played guitar on Kroeger's hit single "Hero" from the first "Spider Man" film. Their latest album, titled "Scars & Souvenirs," has already been certified gold by the RIAA, selling 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone. Continually rising in popularity, they've been nominated for numerous Juno awards, and even played at the half-time show for the Canadian Football League.
