96.3 WDVD HOSTS

I recently moved back to Detroit after many years away. I lived in New Hampshire (Where? Yes, exactly) for almost nine years, working in Manchester, Concord and Boston. I got engaged, planned a wedding then called it off (YIKES!) just two months before d-day. I figured it would be a good idea to leave town and moved to Harrisburg, PA before deciding it was time to come home.
I grew up in Canton where my folks still live and I graduated from Plymouth Canton High School. I eventually attended Specs Howard for broadcasting and got my first job in... Wait for it... Jackson! That was many jobs ago, however.
I have two older, married sisters who live on the East Coast with five kids between them, which totally gets me off the hook with my folks, although I can't help but believe they're thinking "why did the one without the grand kids have to move back???"
I live on the east side with my two cats, Willie and George, who celebrated their 15th birthdays last September (I know... shut up).
I'm thrilled to be back in the area and especially happy to see how much has changed since I last lived here, especially in the city. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more exploring.
Give me a call if you're up late, or early, at (313) 298-9630 or drop me an email!

What is your favorite TV show? "The Office" or any Bravo reality show - I admit it.
If you were stuck on an island and could only have one thing it would be? Lip balm. I'm addicted.
What is your most embarrassing moment? Slipping and falling flat on my behind in front of a national rock band during a pre-concert sound check. Everyone stopped for a few seconds before I heard from the stage mic: "Um... you okay?"
What is your favorite quote? "A man being rich is like a girl being pretty. You wouldn't marry a girl just because she's pretty but, my goodness, doesn't it help?" Marilyn Monroe, "How to Marry a Millionaire."
Name one bad habit you wish you could break? My hatred of house cleaning. Hate it, hate it, hate it.
What was your first job? Sweeping up hair at a salon in Plymouth, Michigan.
If you weren’t in radio, you would probably be… Painfully bored.

"Star Wars" or "Star Trek"? "Wars". Duh.

The world would not be the same without? Laptops. How did we live before?
What is your favorite restaurant? Any place that doesn't involve me cleaning up is aces with me. I love to eat out and try new foods. I'm also a pretty good cook (with a sink full of dirty dishes.)
What was one of your most memorable radio moments? Playing with the dolphins in the pre-dawn hours while doing a morning show broadcast at Busch Gardens, Tampa. All sorts of awesome.
If you could have one person’s e-mail address who’s would it be? George W.; I have some lovely spam...
What is your favorite movie? Wow... depends on my mood. It could be anything from "The Blues Brothers" to "Sunset Boulevard" to some whacked out documentary.
Paper or plastic? Canvas.
If you could meet one person, who would they be? George Clooney. I probably wouldn't be able to put together a coherent sentence and would risk vomiting on myself but I could then die happy.
