96.3 WDVD HOSTS

A native Detroiter, Jake Edwards grew up in Berkley and later moved to Highland Township where he attended Lakeland High School.

Once he caught the “radio bug” from his high school radio station, he decided to pursue a career in broadcasting. Along the way, he has worked at stations in Lansing and Traverse City and down south at stations in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jake is married and has two beautiful teenage girls and a Puggle (a pug and beagle mix) named Cinnamon. He and his wife live in Walled Lake where during the summer they swim and fish and during the winter wish they were swimming and fishing!

With his dry sense of humor and easy-to-talk-to request line phone etiquette, he has secured a large Metro Detroit following, becoming the area's number one Midday show. It is however his broadcast expertise and passion for radio that has earned Jake a coveted spot at 96.3 WDVD.
